Refunds
Refund and cancellation policy
If AuditExport isn't right for you, you may request a refund of your first paid subscription charge within 14 calendar days of that charge. Cancellation of renewal is a separate action.
Effective September 27, 2026. Last updated September 27, 2026.
14-day first-payment refund
If AuditExport isn't right for you, you may request a refund of your first paid subscription charge within 14 calendar days of that charge.
This voluntary policy covers the first successful Professional or Business subscription payment — monthly or annual. It is a first-paid-payment refund, not a recurring 14-day refund after every renewal, and it is not a free trial.
This voluntary 14-day first-payment refund policy is in addition to any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
What this voluntary policy does not cover
- Renewal charges and second or later subscription periods
- Repeated refund requests for the same organization
- Charges that have already been refunded
- Fraudulent or abusive payment activity
- Optional future add-ons or usage charges unless we specifically say they are covered
We do not promise a prorated refund for unused days in a period you already paid, and we do not generally refund the unused remainder of an annual term after you have used the service, except for an eligible first paid subscription payment or where the law requires otherwise.
Cancellation is not a refund
Canceling renewal and requesting a refund are different actions. Canceling stops the next charge. A refund request is reviewed separately and is not created automatically when you cancel. Approving a refund does not by itself cancel a later renewal unless billing support also cancels the subscription as part of that review.
How cancellation works
An organization owner or admin with billing permission can request cancellation from authenticated billing settings. The product schedules cancellation at period end. You keep access through the current paid period. Canceling does not automatically refund the current charge.
Monthly plans
Canceling a monthly Professional or Business subscription stops the next renewal. You can keep using paid features until the current monthly period ends, then the organization returns to the free plan limits.
Annual plans
Canceling an annual subscription stops the next annual renewal. Access continues through the current annual period. Renewal charges are not covered by the voluntary 14-day first-payment policy.
What happens after cancellation
- Existing files and runs remain available according to your plan and retention settings
- New work that exceeds free-plan limits is blocked after the paid period ends
- You can export reports the product already allows before or after the period ends
Downgrades and the free plan
The free plan is available without a paid checkout. If you cancel a paid plan, entitlements drop to free limits when the paid period ends. Data is not deleted solely because you canceled renewal.
How to request a refund
Request a first-payment refund from signed-in billing settings or contact billing support. Tell us it is a first-payment refund request. Do not send card numbers, CVV codes, or bank credentials.
Billing support reviews the first successful charge date in the payment provider record. We do not guess eligibility from signup date or a browser clock. If approved, the refund is returned through the original payment method by Dodo Payments. Settlement time depends on the payment provider and your bank; we do not promise a specific bank posting date.
Duplicate or incorrect charges
Dodo Payments collects subscription charges. If a charge is duplicated or clearly incorrect, contact billing support and we will review it with the payment provider even when it is not a first paid subscription payment.
Rights required by law
Where a law requires a refund or cancellation right, we will honor that requirement. This voluntary 14-day first-payment refund policy is in addition to any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law. This page does not exclude those rights.
